Privacy Policy

Established: Jul 8, 2026 / Revised: Oct 20, 2026 (added advertising, in-app purchases, and notifications)

This is an English translation for reference. If there is any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.

Cho-Kinen (the “App”) is designed with your privacy in mind. Your quit-smoking records are stored only on your device and are never sent to the provider’s (Libra’s) servers. No account registration or login is required. However, to keep the App free we show ads, and we offer optional in-app purchases; these use the external services described below.

◎ Your records stay on your device and are never sent to the provider’s servers

◎ No account registration or login required

◎ Notifications are created on your device and are not sent anywhere

1. Information the Provider Collects

The provider (Libra) does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number, and does not use analytics to collect usage data. The external services in sections 2, 5, and 6 handle information under their own policies.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

To provide its quit-smoking tracking features, the App stores the following information only on your device (local storage). This data is never sent off your device.

This data is deleted when you uninstall the App.

3. Disclosure to Third Parties

The provider does not provide or sell your quit-smoking records to any third party.

4. Links to External Sites

Some features, such as “Quit-smoking goods” (禁煙グッズ), may open external sites, including Amazon, in your device’s default browser. These links may use affiliate programs. Information you enter on or that is collected by the linked sites is handled according to each site’s privacy policy. The App never passes your records to external sites.

5. Advertising

The App shows ads from Google AdMob at the bottom of the home screen (not shown if you purchase “Remove Ads”). For ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention, AdMob may obtain device identifiers such as the advertising ID, approximate location (estimated from your IP address), ad impressions and taps, and device type. Your quit-smoking records are never passed to AdMob.

6. In-App Purchases

“Support Haita” and “Remove Ads” are paid through Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). The provider never receives your credit card or other payment details. To verify and restore purchases, the App uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.), which receives your purchase records (which item was bought and when) and an anonymous ID created for the App. Your name and email address are not sent. (RevenueCat Privacy Policy)

7. Notifications

Milestone notifications and daily messages are local notifications scheduled on your device. No information is sent externally for notifications. You can turn them off at any time in the App’s settings or in your device’s Settings.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App contains content about smoking and quitting smoking and is intended for adults. The provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this policy due to changes in laws or the addition of features. If there are significant changes, we will announce them on this page.
