SEER – Offline Survival Strategy AI
SEER – Offline Survival Strategy AI (the “App”) is an app that provides disaster-preparedness and survival information completely offline. The developer (Reiwa Survival Lab) handles users’ privacy as follows.
1. Information we collect: none
The App collects no personal information, usage data or device information whatsoever. No account registration is required.
- Questions to the AI and its answers: All processing is done by the AI on your device. The content of your questions is never sent outside the device.
- Location information: Used only to calculate distances on your device for the “Nearby evacuation sites” feature. Location information is never sent or stored outside the device.
- Microphone (voice input): Speech is converted to text by on-device speech recognition. Audio is never sent outside the device.
- Content you enter, such as journal entries, supplies and your family evacuation plan: All of it is stored only on your device.
2. Network communication
The only network communication the App performs is downloading the AI data during initial setup (source: an AI model distribution site). No personal information is sent at that time. Once the download is complete, the App does not perform any network communication.
3. Third-party sharing, advertising and analytics
- Sharing of information with third parties: none
- Advertising SDKs and analytics SDKs: not used
4. Transmissions made at the user’s discretion
Only if you choose “Send by email” in the AI answer report feature, an email addressed to the developer is created in your own email app (whether to send it is entirely up to you).
5. Deleting data
Because everything you enter is stored on your device, deleting the App erases all of your data.
6. Disclaimer
The information in the App is general reference information and does not provide diagnosis or treatment. In an emergency, call 119 (Japan’s emergency number) and prioritize the judgment of professionals.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy is revised, we will update this page and the notice within the App.
