Local data
Doopa manages small windows on your Mac. When X history is enabled, it saves post URLs, short text, authors and timestamps locally. It does not save DMs, images or videos as history. Instagram and TikTok post text and browsing history are not saved.
Sign-in and services
WebKit manages sign-in cookies in Doopa’s windows. Chrome and the services manage Chrome sessions. Viewing and signing in communicate with those services. Doopa does not send passwords to its own server. Each service’s privacy terms also apply.
Music and lyrics
Enabled music connections read track, artist, playback state and artwork information. Music Link sends supported Chrome player information to Doopa on the same Mac. Artwork is fetched from the image provider. Up to two lines of displayed lyrics are received temporarily and are not written to saved files.
AI, files and notes
Optional Claude Code and Codex hooks share task status and folder information. Doopa does not save conversation text through this feature. File references, notes and layouts are saved locally. Manage saved data in Settings → Privacy.
Updates and this website
Update checks send an IP address and information such as app and macOS versions to the distribution server. Browsing content and track names are not included. Updates require valid signatures. Automatic checks are optional. This website does not use custom behavioral analytics or advertising trackers, but the hosting provider may process ordinary access logs.
Screen sharing
Manually enable Sharing Mode before sharing your screen. It hides private Doopa windows and pauses collection and auto-advance. It cannot remove information already shared or hide content in other apps.
